Streaming on Aha OTT in Telugu, Emoji is a Tamil web series turned film directed by Rangaswamy. The story follows Aadav (Mahat Raghavendra), a software engineer, who falls in love with Prarthana (Manasa Choudhary). As their relationship evolves, they get involved with their neighbors, Amar and Deeksha (Devika Satish), leading to a twist where Aadav marries Deeksha after breaking up with Prarthana.
The title, Emoji, feels disconnected from the plot, and the love story seems forced. The movie’s pacing is uneven, with a stretched-out resolution. Performances are decent, with Manasa and Devika impressing, while Mahat could improve. The visuals are good, but the Telugu dubbing has lip-sync issues.
