Sundarakanda Movie Review
Review: Sundarakanda Watchable Romantic Comedy
Rating: 3/5
Cast: Nara Rohith, Sridevi Vijaykumar, Virti Vaghani, Naresh, Satya, Abhinav Gomatam & others
Director: Venkatesh Nimmalapudi
Story:
Siddharth (Nara Rohith) refuses to marry unless a woman matches his five principles. When he meets Aira (Virti Vaghani), he believes she could be the one, but an age gap and hidden truths complicate matters. The entry of Vaishnavi (Sridevi Vijaykumar) and a shocking twist at the interval shape the narrative.
Plus Points:
- Nara Rohith suits the lighter role, Virti Vaghani impresses emotionally, and Sridevi Vijaykumar adds grace. Satya’s humor, paired with the surprise turn at the interval, adds freshness and keeps the momentum alive.
Minus Points:
- The story feels predictable, some preachy/exaggerated scenes drag, and supporting roles are underused.
Technical Aspects:
- The director’s first attempt is handled with confidence, backed by Leon James’ engaging soundtrack. The visuals and editing are serviceable, while the overall production quality adds polish.
Verdict:
- A lighthearted romantic entertainer that blends neat performances with enjoyable humor, making it a pleasant watch.Predictable but still a safe, festive family watch.
