Vikkatakavi Web Series Review
Vikkatakavi, Telangana's first detective series, follows a student uncovering a mysterious case in a 1970s village. Strong performances and an intriguing storyline make it an entertaining watch.

Vikkatakavi, Telangana’s first detective series, streams on ZEE5, set in the 1970s. The story follows Ramakrishna, a sharp student tasked with solving the mystery of Amaragiri, a village where people lose their memory after visiting the eerie Devathala Gutta.
Plus Points:
Naresh Agastya delivers a strong performance, with Tarak Ponnada standing out as Mahadeva.
The 1970s setting is authentically recreated, and the serious tone adds depth to the narrative.
Minus Points:
Pacing issues and underdeveloped characters, especially Megha Akash’s role, hinder the overall impact.
The predictable storyline lacks enough twists to fully captivate the audience.
Verdict: Vikkatakavi is a decent detective thriller with strong performances but could benefit from better pacing and more twists. It’s a good weekend watch for fans of the genre. Rating: 3/5.
