The much-awaited horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan, has officially locked its release date for April 2, 2026. The film’s shoot began today, with a captivating new poster released alongside the announcement.

After 14 years, director Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar are reuniting for this exciting project, adding to the anticipation of their fans. Known for their successful collaborations in the past, their return promises a thrilling and humorous cinematic experience.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Bhooth Bangla also features co-producers Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. The film’s story is penned by Akash A Kaushik, with the screenplay written by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan.
