Sohum Shah’s acclaimed film Tumbbad returns to theaters six years after its debut, fueled by strong fan support. At a recent screening, Shah expressed gratitude for the film’s continued popularity and shared a reel on social media with the caption: "Thank you for reliving the magic of Tumbbad! Advance bookings are now open! Experience the film in cinemas from September 13, 2024."

Directed by Rahi Anil Barve and Anand Gandhi, Tumbbad is a Hindi-language folk horror film co-directed by Adesh Prasad. It stars Sohum Shah, Jyoti Malshe, and Anita Date-Kelkar and is celebrated for its gripping story and exceptional production design.

Award-Winning Success

Tumbbad won three Filmfare Awards out of eight nominations, including Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, and Best Sound Design. It was also the first Indian film featured in the Critics' Week Section at the 75th Venice International Film Festival. Despite its success, Tumbbad is not available on any OTT platforms.
