Mammootty's Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha Re Release Date Fix

Mammootty's classic Malayalam film Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, originally released in 1989, is set for a re-release in theaters after 36 years. Scheduled to hit the big screens on February 7, the film will be presented in 4K with Dolby Atmos sound.
The film, which earned four National Film Awards, including Best Actor for Mammootty, and eight Kerala State Film Awards, tells the story of Chandu, an orphan raised in northern Kerala during the 16th century. He becomes skilled in combat but faces betrayal, misunderstanding, and unrequited love. Over time, his past catches up with him, and he sacrifices himself in a duel to bring honor to his loved ones.
Directed by Hariharan and written by M.T. Vasudevan Nair, the film stars Mammootty as Chandu, with Vineeth Kumar as young Chandu. The cast also includes Suresh Gopi, Balan K. Nair, Captain Raju, Maadhavi, and Geetha.
