The sequel to the hit Malayalam romantic comedy Premalu is set to release during the Onam season next year. Filming for Premalu 2 will begin in January 2025 in the UK, produced by Bhavana Studio. Director Girish promises even more fun and energy in the sequel. Although details about the plot are still under wraps, an announcement video has created excitement, showing glimpses of characters like Karthik, Reenu, and Thomas. The original film is available digitally on Aaha (Telugu version) and Disney Hotstar (Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi versions). The sequel, featuring Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Ravindran, and others, will have music by Vishnu Vijay.
