Cheran's Classic Film Autograph to Re-release in Theaters After 21 Years

Cheran's award-winning film Autograph is set to be re-released in theaters on May 16 after 21 years. The romantic drama tells the story of Senthil Kumar (Cheran), an ad agency owner who, while traveling by train to invite friends and family to his wedding, reflects on the three influential women from his past. The film features Gopika, Sneha, Mallika, and Kaniha in key roles. Autograph was both a critical and commercial hit, winning three National Awards for Best Popular Film, Best Female Playback Singer, and Best Lyrics. It was also remade in Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali. The film's production was handled by Dream Theatres, with cinematography by Ravi Varman and others and music by Bharadwaj. The movie was first released on February 20, 2004.
