Even years after its debut, 3 continues to shine. The viral sensation "Kolaveri Di," composed by Anirudh and sung by Dhanush, generated massive buzz ahead of the film's 2012 release. However, the movie, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, struggled at the box office, including in the Telugu states.

Over time, 3 gained a cult following, and its Telugu version has now seen a third re-release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Sept 14. With Rs 36 lakhs from 59 shows and 20 houseful screenings, Telugu movie lovers have once again made 3 a hit, despite competition from other new releases.
