Arun Vijay's first look from Dhanush's directorial Idly Kadai has been revealed, confirming the film's April 10 release despite rumors of a delay. The film, which also sees Ajith's Good Bad Ugly release on the same day, features Arun Vijay as a boxer. His role in Yennai Arindhaal as an antagonist was widely praised, and he's expected to bring the same intensity to Idly Kadai. Arun Vijay expressed his excitement to work with Dhanush, praising his dedication on set.

In addition to directing Idly Kadai, Dhanush is preparing for the release of Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, a Gen-Z romance featuring Bhavish, Anikha Surendran, and Mathew Thomas, with music by G.V. Prakash. Dhanush is also set to release Kuberan directed by Sekhar Kammula and reunite with Aanand L. Rai for Tere Ishq Mein, due in November.
