Dhanush’s upcoming directorial Idly Kadai is set for release on April 10, despite rumors of a possible delay due to the ongoing shooting schedule. These speculations were put to rest at the audio launch of Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), where executive producer Shreyas confirmed the film’s release date. Dhanush could not attend the event due to his commitment to Idly Kadai.

The event, which featured Arun Vijay as the chief guest, saw him praising Dhanush’s dedication and the collaborative efforts of GV Prakash on the film’s songs. Arun Vijay also expressed confidence that NEEK, which stars Bhavish Narayan in his debut, will be a milestone in cinema. Meanwhile, Idly Kadai will clash at the box office with Ajith's Good Bad Ugly on the same release day.
