Kamal Haasan’s 1991 psychological romantic drama Guna, directed by Santhana Bharathi, has earned cult status over the years. Featuring Ilaiyaraaja's iconic track Kanmani Anbodu Kadhalan, the film remains a fan favorite.

Originally scheduled for re-release in June 2024, Guna faced delays due to legal issues. With those now resolved, the film will return to theaters on November 29, 2024, in Tamil Nadu. There is no confirmation yet regarding a Telugu version. Produced by Swathi Chithra International, the film also stars Rekha and Rohini. Fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to experience this timeless classic on the big screen once again.
