Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Sudha Kongara, will hit theatres on Pongal, January 14. Filming resumed in August after delays due to ED raids on Dawn Pictures. Set in the 1960s, it explores events leading to the anti-Hindi agitation.

The film also features Atharvaa and Tamil debutante Sreeleela, with GV Prakash composing and Ravi K Chandran handling cinematography. This marks Sivakarthikeyan’s first collaboration with Sudha Kongara.
