Rajinikanth's 1991 classic Thalapathi is set for a re-release in theatres with a 4K remastered version on December 12, 2024, coinciding with the actor's 74th birthday. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the gangster drama stars Rajinikanth, Mammootty, and Arvind Swamy, along with notable actors like Jaishankar, Amrish Puri, and Srividya.
