To celebrate Kamal Haasan's birthday on November 7, the makers of the upcoming Tamil film Thug Life will reveal the film’s cast at 11 am. Directed by Mani Ratnam, Thug Life features Kamal Haasan in the lead, with Silambarasan, Ashok Selvan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Nasser, and Ali Fazal in key roles. Initially, Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi were part of the cast but were replaced by Silambarasan and Ashok Selvan in mid-production.

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films and Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, with music by AR Rahman. Thug Life promises to be an action-packed movie with a hyperlink screenplay, shot across locations in Serbia, New Delhi, Rajasthan, and Puducherry. While the release date is yet to be confirmed, the film is expected to hit theaters in 2025.
