Kollywood star Karthi, known for choosing content-driven films, is teaming up with director Nalan Kumaraswamy for his 26th film, Vaa Vaathiyaar, launched in 2023. Karthi dons the badge in an action-packed thriller, with Krithi Shetty stepping in as his partner in a story full of twists and suspense.

The film faced multiple delays despite being completed, initially planned for release in January, then June, and later September. After overcoming these hurdles, the makers have now officially announced the release date, and Vaa Vaathiyar is gearing up for its launch.
