Vidaamuyarchi Release Date Announced

Vidaamuyarchi starring Ajith Kumar, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is set for a Pongal 2025 release. After several delays, the film's release date has finally been locked for January 10, 2025. The film, which has generated significant anticipation following its teaser, is confirmed to hit theatres globally during the Pongal season. The makers aim to make an official announcement once post-production is complete, with the official release date, along with a new poster or trailer, expected by December 2024.

The plot of Vidaamuyarchi follows a middle-aged man’s thrilling journey to find his missing wife, played by Trisha Krishnan. Ajith Kumar plays the lead role in this action-packed film, loosely inspired by the 1997 American film Breakdown. The movie also stars Arjun Sarja as the antagonist, with Regina Cassandra, Arav, Sravan, Nikhil Nair, and others in supporting roles. Music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography is handled by Om Prakash and Nirav Shah. Vidaamuyarchi is produced by Lyca Productions.
