Nandamuri Balakrishna's Aditya 369 to Re Release in 4K on April 4
Nandamuri Balakrishna's classic Aditya 369 is set to return to the big screen with a 4K re-release on April 4. The film, originally released in 1991, is widely considered India's first time-travel movie and was praised for its futuristic storyline. Directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, it featured Balakrishna in a dual role, including the role of the legendary king Sri Krishna Devaraya. The film's timeless appeal is attributed to its strong direction, engaging dialogues by Jandhyala, music by Ilaiyaraaja, and stellar performances. A grand pre-release event will be held during Ugadi to celebrate the re-release. Additionally, a sequel to Aditya 369 is in the works, with Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna Teja set to lead the film. More details are awaited.
