Anushka Shetty is currently shooting the climax of her upcoming film Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. This marks the second collaboration between Anushka and Krish after their successful film Vedham. The film, produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under the UV Creations banner, is set for release on April 18, 2025.

The first look of Ghaati unveiled on Anushka's birthday, created a buzz on social media with her intense and ruthless avatar. In the poster, she is seen bleeding and smoking a bhang, a look that quickly went viral.

With 80% of the film already completed, post-production is underway. The climax shoot is expected to conclude by the end of January, after which Anushka will begin dubbing for her character.

Ghaati will have a Pan-India release and will later be available on Amazon Prime. Anushka is currently focusing solely on this project, apart from her ongoing Malayalam film.
