Kiran Abbavaram’s romantic drama Dilruba, initially set to release on February 14, 2025, has been postponed. The film, directed by Viswa Karun and starring Ruksar Dhillon as the female lead, will now be released on March 14, 2025, making it a summer special. The delay is attributed to a lack of promotional time, and the filmmakers wanted to avoid competition with other films like Laila and Brahma Anandam, both releasing on the same date.

Dilruba had built significant anticipation, especially after Kiran Abbavaram's previous hit, KA. The film explores the toxic behavior of a man in love, with Abbavaram playing a stylish and cool character. The soundtrack is by Sam CS, who is gaining recognition after Pushpa 2. The makers remain confident that Dilruba will be a hit upon its new release.
