Tovino Thomas’s political action film Narivetta, based on the 2003 Muthanga tribal protest, was released in Malayalam on May 23, 2025, to positive reviews. Directed by Anuraj Manohar and written by Abin Joseph, the film was initially set to release in Telugu on the same day as Narivetta – Thodelu Veta, but faced an unexpected delay.

The makers have now confirmed a new release date for the Telugu version: May 30, 2025. With the trailer already creating a buzz, especially for its intense pre-climax and Tovino’s performance, Telugu audiences are eagerly awaiting its release.
