The 2006 Telugu political drama Stalin, starring Chiranjeevi and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, is getting a restored theatrical re-release in 8K with Dolby Atmos. The film is slated to hit theatres on August 22, 2025, a special tribute timed with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday celebration.

The remaster is handled by Aniana Productions and aims to deliver a visually enhanced experience. Although some sources mentioned a mid-June launch, the final re-release is confirmed for late August.

While fans are excited, some express concern that constant re-releases may be more nostalgic than impactful, especially as they await updates on Chiranjeevi’s next project, Vishwambhara.
