Sudheer Babu’s supernatural drama Jatadhara will release on November 7. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, it is produced by Zee Studios and Ess Kay Gee Entertainments, with backing from several producers.

The film marks Sonakshi Sinha’s Telugu debut as Dhanapisachini, a demonic goddess, while Sudheer Babu plays a figure of sacrifice. The teaser features Lord Shiva, hinting at a spiritual angle. Shilpa Shirodkar and Divya Khosla have key roles.

Announced in August 2024, production began in February 2025. Shot in Telugu and Hindi, the film explores lore linked to the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, with VFX-heavy sequences. Cinematography is by Sameer Kalyani, production design by Prabhat Thakur, and art direction by Sandhya Sharma.

For Sudheer Babu, after Maa Nanna Superhero and Harom Hara, Jatadhara is a major project. With Sonakshi’s debut and its grand scale, it targets a pan-Indian release this Dussehra.
