Fans of Telugu cinema are in for a treat as two iconic films, Sye (2004) and Oy (2009), are set to return to theatres. SS Rajamouli's Sye and Anand Ranga's Oy will both be re-released on January 1, 2025, offering a nostalgic experience for moviegoers.

Sye: Directed by SS Rajamouli and written by Rajamouli and V. Vijayendra Prasad, Sye follows the rivalry between two student gangs, led by Prithvi (Nithiin) and Shashank. The film centers around their battle to reclaim their college ground from a mafia leader through a rugby match. The film stars Nithiin, Genelia D’Souza, Pradeep Rawat, and others.

Oy: Directed by Anand Ranga, Oy features Siddharth as Uday, a wealthy businessman who falls for Sandhya (Shamlee), a terminally ill woman. The story focuses on their relationship as Uday helps Sandhya embrace the small joys of life. The film also stars Krishnudu, Sunil, and Tanikella Bharani.
