Yuganiki Okkadu Re Release Date Announced

The iconic movie Yuganiki Okkadu, directed by Selvaraghavan, is making a comeback in theaters after 15 years. Known for its strong connection with audiences beyond language barriers, the film is a Telugu adaptation of the Tamil hit Ayurathil Oruvan.

Released in 2010, the film portrays a captivating story set in three different periods—1279, the 14th century, and 2010. The narrative follows a Chola king's son who is tasked with safeguarding his kingdom from the Pandya invasion. Centuries later, a descendant of the Pandyas, played by Karthi, embarks on a thrilling adventure to uncover the secrets of the Chola dynasty.

With stellar performances by Karthi, Rima Sen, and Andrea Jeremiah, Yuganiki Okkadu became a major hit. The re-release of this cult classic will take place on March 14, 2025.
