Everyone knows the movie Avatar, directed by James Cameron, which took audiences into a stunning new world. The first two films in the franchise were huge box office successes. Now, Avatar 3, titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, is set to release in December 2025.

James Cameron revealed that while the first film was set on Earth and the second under the ocean, the third will focus on a war on the moon. To build excitement, Avatar 2 will be re-released in theaters for one week starting October 3, 2025.

Avatar 3 will hit theaters on December 19, 2025, followed by Avatar 4 in December 2029 and Avatar 5 in December 2031. Fans can look forward to returning to Pandora and experiencing James Cameron’s new cinematic wonders.
