Harry Potter TV Series Confirmed To Begin Filming In Summer 2025

The highly anticipated Harry Potter TV series is set to begin filming in the summer of 2025, with a planned release in 2026. The series, produced by Max and based on J.K. Rowling's books, will explore the characters' younger years. Casting for key roles, including Harry Potter, is currently underway, with 32,000 children auditioning for the roles.

Director Mark Mylod and showrunner Francesca Gardiner are leading the project, which will stay true to the characters’ ages and features a large budget. The show will also introduce previously unexplored areas of Hogwarts. Expect seven seasons, with the first two filmed back-to-back to maintain consistency with the young cast.
