Squid Game Season 3 Release Date Revealed By Netflix, Then Deleted

Netflix may have accidentally revealed the release date for Squid Game season 3, causing a buzz online. A teaser video, showing the robot duo Young Hee and Chul Su, was uploaded on Netflix Korea’s YouTube, with a June 27, 2025 release date displayed. However, the clip was quickly removed, leaving fans curious. Some suspect it was an intentional marketing move.

Although the upcoming release is often called Squid Game season 3, creator Hwang Dong Hyuk clarified it’s more of a continuation of season 2, or "Part 2," as the story was split due to its complexity and cost. Production for both parts was done together, resulting in a 14-episode narrative split into two. Fans are eager for the conclusion of season 2's cliffhanger, and Netflix is keeping the excitement alive.
