Vijay Sethupathi to Host Bigg Boss Tamil 8 at a Lower Fee Than Kamal Haasan

Bigg Boss Tamil 8 is generating buzz with its upcoming season, bringing fresh excitement to its dedicated fan base. Unlike previous seasons, Kamal Haasan will not be hosting this time due to prior commitments. Instead, Vijay Sethupathi has been announced as the new host, as confirmed by the recent promo introducing him.

Reports reveal that Vijay Sethupathi will be charging Rs 50 crores for his role as host, which is significantly less than Kamal Haasan's fee of Rs 120 crores for Bigg Boss Tamil 7. The new season is set to premiere on October 13, airing on Vijay Television and Disney+ Hotstar. The format will include the same two-house theme as last season, with some former contestants returning to compete.
