Khel Khel Mein Trailer: Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, And The Gang Play Russian Roulette With Their Smartphones

Mudassar Aziz's dramedy "Khel Khel Mein," featuring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, and others, is set for release on August 15.

What's in the Trailer?

The trailer introduces a plot centered around seven friends who gather for a dinner party and play a game where they surrender their phones, leading to the unraveling of secrets and lies. Akshay's character is caught liking bikini pictures on Instagram and lying to his wife, played by Vaani Kapoor. A joke about Tiger Shroff, Akshay's co-star in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," is also included.

About the Film

Taapsee Pannu embraces a comic role as a Sardarni. The cast includes Fardeen Khan, praised for his role in "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar," and reuniting with Akshay from "Heyy Babyy." Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal also join the ensemble.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for "Happy Bhag Jayegi" and "Pati, Patni Aur Woh," the film is co-written by Aziz and Sara Bodinar and produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.

Originally scheduled for September, "Khel Khel Mein" will now hit cinemas on Independence Day, competing with Nikkhil Advani's "Vedaa" and "Stree 2." "Vedaa" stars John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, and Abhishek Banerjee, while "Stree 2" features Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and a special dance number by Tamannaah Bhatia.
