During the historic Kargil War, the Indian Air Force carried out the remarkable ‘Operation Safed Sagar’, a mission that played a crucial role in India’s victory. Drawing inspiration from this real-life event, director Oni Sen is bringing a new web series titled Operation Safed Sagar, centered on the bravery and contribution of the Air Force during the conflict.

Netflix officially revealed the project through its Instagram page, stating:

“Operation Safed Sagar — the world’s highest aerial mission in history — is coming soon. Stream exclusively on Netflix.”

The teaser includes powerful dialogues such as:

“No squadron in the history of the Indian Air Force has ever undertaken a mission like this. We have chosen only a few. The Pakistanis believe altitude will protect them — but this time, we will rewrite history.”

The series features Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Mihir Ahuja, Tarukh Raina, and Arnav Bhasin in lead roles. It is jointly produced by Sanjay Routray, Sarita Patil, and Mehboob Pal Singh.
