ZEE5 has dropped the trailer for Saali Mohabbat, the upcoming film marking Tisca Chopra’s debut as a feature director, which will premiere on December 12.

The film, produced by Jio Studios in collaboration with Manish Malhotra’s Stage5 Production, brings together a talented cast including Radhika Apte, Divyenndu Sharma, Anurag Kashyap, Anshumaan Pushkar, Sharat Saxena, and Sauraseni Maitra.

Saali Mohabbat centers on Smita (played by Apte), a woman leading a quiet, sheltered life in the snowy, tranquil town of Fursatgarh. However, the town’s calm is shattered when a shocking double murder occurs, exposing long-hidden tensions and complex motives.

As the investigation intensifies, Smita is drawn from her secluded world into a vortex of suspicion, alongside numerous other potential suspects. She must navigate the mysteries unfolding around her while striving to protect her own peace of mind and sanity, according to the official synopsis.

Radhika Apte mentioned that the trailer effectively portrays the “unsettling stillness” of her character’s inner life.
