The 1-minute, 35-second trailer, released on September 21, has captivated viewers, with many expressing their excitement in the comments section, wishing Madhav and the team all the best.

Earlier, on August 28, the filmmakers released a new single titled "Kummom Kummom," showcasing the coastal life of Kerala and the fishing trade. The music is composed by Jackson Vijayan, with vocals and lyrics by Pranavam Sasi.

"Kummatikali" marks the Malayalam directorial debut of Vincent Selva, known for films featuring Thalapathy Vijay, and is inspired by Mammootty’s "Amaram." The film’s cast includes Lena, Devika Satheesh, Yami, Anuprabha, Major Ravi, and others. The cinematography is by Venkatesh, and Don Max is handling the editing.
