The lyrical video from the upcoming period romantic drama “Kanta”, starring Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan, has officially been released. The film is jointly produced by Wayfarer Films (Dulquer Salmaan’s home banner) and Rana Daggubati’s production house.

Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the movie features Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead, with Samuthirakani, Gajaraj Rao, and Indrajith Sukumaran in prominent supporting roles. The previously released posters and teaser have already generated a strong buzz among fans, raising expectations for the film’s theatrical release on November 14.

The newly released song, “Me Loin Fire,” has been composed by Jaanu Chander, with vocals by Siddharth Basrur and lyrics written by Lunarpunk. The Telugu rap portion was written and performed by Abhinava Kavi. Sharing the lyrical video on social media, Rana Daggubati described it as “the raging soundtrack that defines the range of Kanta.”

Set in the 1950s, the story of Kanta explores the blend of cinema glamour, politics, and deep emotions interwoven with a love story that unfolds between actors on a film set.

Following acclaimed performances in Kurup, Chup, and Sita Ramam, Dulquer Salmaan is ready to captivate audiences once again, this time in a powerful new genre.
