Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited film with director Bobby Kolli has officially been titled ‘Kaaka’. On the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the makers released the film’s first glimpse along with the title announcement, giving fans a look at the actor’s character and the world of the film. The project was previously referred to as Mega 158.

In Kaaka, Chiranjeevi plays K. Satyam, a supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries. The glimpse presents him in a relatively simple and grounded avatar before hinting at another, more intense side of his character. The makers have kept the character’s deeper background under wraps, adding an element of mystery to the film.

The glimpse also gives Chiranjeevi a stylish and youthful presentation, with elements that are expected to remind fans of his vintage screen presence. The film appears to combine mass action, entertainment and emotional elements, while Bobby Kolli seems to be presenting Chiranjeevi in a different characterisation.

Kaaka is scheduled to release worldwide on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi festive season. The film marks Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli’s second collaboration after Waltair Veerayya, which has already raised expectations among Telugu cinema audiences.

S. Thaman is composing the music, while Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj are part of the cast. The glimpse also features a nostalgic musical touch connected to Chiranjeevi’s earlier film Gang Leader.
