Gaddar Telangana Film Awards: Recognizing Telugu And Urdu Cinema with Grand April Ceremony

The Telangana government has announced the introduction of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, which will be presented annually on the occasion of Ugadi. As part of this initiative, producer Dil Raju held a press meet today to discuss the awards' guidelines and categories.

During the event, Dil Raju stated that special awards will be given in the names of Paidi Jayaraj and Kanta Rao. He also mentioned that the awards will recognize both Telugu and Urdu films. Additionally, he announced that one film per year, from 2014 to 2023, will be honored with a Gaddar Award. The awards ceremony is set to take place in April in a grand manner. He also assured that those who had previously applied for the Simha Awards will have their application fees refunded.

The Gaddar Awards will be presented in various categories, including Feature Film, National Integration Film, Children's Film, Environmental Film, and Historical Heritage Film. Additionally, awards will be given for First Feature Film, Animation Film, Social Effect Film, Documentary Film, and Short Film categories.
