Mahesh Babu’s Son Gautam Ghattamaneni Makes Acting Debut in Short Film

Gautam Ghattamaneni Short Film: While superstar Mahesh Babu remains occupied with his upcoming film Varanasi, his son Gautam Ghattamaneni has quietly taken his first step into acting. The young star recently appeared in a short film titled “14 Days,” which has been released on YouTube without much promotion.

Gautam, who completed his earlier education in India, is currently studying acting at New York University in the United States. From time to time, he shares glimpses of his student life and friends on social media. As part of his creative journey, he has now played the lead role in a short film directed by his friend Alex Lakshmi.

The short film features Anush Dhaneni as the female lead, along with four other supporting characters. The story revolves around a tense situation involving a kidnapped girlfriend and the emotional struggle faced by Gautam’s character while trying to deal with the crisis.

With a runtime of three minutes and 20 seconds, the film focuses on the tension and the eventual capture of the kidnapper. Gautam’s performance reflects his early stage as an actor, but he manages to convey the tension effectively throughout the narrative.

However, the story appears to end abruptly, leaving viewers with unanswered questions. The conclusion has sparked curiosity about whether the filmmakers are planning a sequel or if the short film was intentionally designed with an open ending.

Although the project has not yet gained wide attention on social media, it marks an interesting start to Gautam Ghattamaneni’s acting journey.
