Rajamouli's Friend Accuses Him of Mental Torture, Threatens Suicide

Telugu |

Rajamouli's longtime friend U. Srinivasa Rao accused him of years of mental harassment, claiming he sacrificed his life for their friendship and is now contemplating suicide.

Rajamouli, who gained nationwide fame with Baahubali and international recognition with RRR, is currently busy with Mahesh Babu’s film. Fans are eagerly waiting for updates on this project, which is in the shooting stage. However, a recent controversy has emerged as Rajamouli’s long-time friend U. Srinivasa Rao made serious allegations against him, stating that he is unable to bear Rajamouli’s "torture" and is contemplating suicide. In a selfie video and a letter, Srinivasa Rao pleaded with the police to file a suo motu case against Rajamouli, claiming that he has suffered for 34 years due to their friendship. He has also worked as an executive producer for several films.

In the video, Srinivasa Rao mentioned working with industry figures like MM Keeravani, Chandrasekhar Yeleti, Gunnam Gangaraju, Hanu Raghavapudi, and Mythri Movie CEO Cherry, all of whom are aware of his friendship with Rajamouli. He revealed that their friendship dates back 34 years and involved a love triangle similar to Arya 2, where he made a sacrifice at Rajamouli’s request. This incident occurred before the Shanti Nivasam serial era. However, after Rajamouli became a top director, he allegedly started torturing Srinivasa Rao, fearing that he would reveal their past. Srinivasa Rao lamented that he sacrificed 30 years of his life for Rajamouli and that their strained relationship worsened after a minor argument when he mentioned turning their story into a film.

Srinivasa Rao expressed deep frustration, stating that Rajamouli's family distanced themselves from him and that he has suffered immensely. Now 55 years old, he claimed that Rajamouli was the reason he never got married. He advised others not to get entangled in love affairs but to focus on their careers. He insisted that his long-standing friendship with Rajamouli had cost him his life and that Rajamouli suspects he has already revealed their story to someone. Despite the lack of direct evidence, he urged the police to take his death declaration seriously and file a suo motu case against Rajamouli.
