Popular singer Kalpana attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills. Locals rushed her to Holistic Hospital in Hyderabad, where doctors are currently treating her. Her condition is stable, and she has regained consciousness. However, the exact reasons behind her suicide attempt are still unclear. As part of the preliminary investigation, the police are questioning her second husband, Prasad Prabhakar. Reports suggest that he has denied any disputes between them. The police have taken him to the station for further inquiry and have also seized his mobile phone.

The news of Kalpana’s suicide attempt has shocked the film and music industry. Several celebrities visited the hospital to check on her health. Singer Sunitha personally went to the hospital, inquired about Kalpana’s condition, and urged the doctors to provide her with the best possible treatment.
