Sobhita Dhulipala Cheekatilo Movie Trailer Out: OTT Crime Thriller on Amazon Prime

Sobhita Dhulipala, who is now part of the Akkineni family, has taken up her first film project after marriage. This movie is set for a direct digital release on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The official trailer was unveiled on Monday, January 12. In the film, Sobhita plays the role of Sandhya, a crime-focused anchor. She initially works as a journalist but later resigns and launches her own podcast, which is titled Cheekatilo.

Through her work as a crime anchor, Sobhita highlights various criminal incidents occurring in society. The story revolves around the hunt for a serial killer who, regardless of how cautious a criminal may be, always leaves behind a crucial error. This killer sends advance warnings that another person will soon fall into darkness. Will the protagonist succeed in tracking him down? And more importantly, can she keep herself safe from his threat? The answers unfold in the film.

The cast also includes Vishwadev Rachakonda, Chaitanya Vishalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Amani, Vadlamani Srinivas, and Ravindra Vijay, among others. The movie is directed by Sharan Koppisetty, with music composed by Sricharan Pakala. In the Dark will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January 23 in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
