Surya Sethupathi, son of acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi, is stepping into cinema with his first feature film titled Phoenix. Originally released in Tamil on July 4, the movie is now gearing up for its Telugu theatrical release under the same title. The makers have recently unveiled the Telugu trailer, generating significant buzz among fans.

Directed by well-known stunt choreographer Anal Arasu and produced by Rajyalakshmi Anal Arasu, Phoenix combines emotional depth with high-octane action. While the Tamil version is already available for streaming on Amazon Prime, the Telugu edition is slated to hit theatres on November 7. Ahead of its release, the team organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad.

In the film, Surya Sethupathi delivers a strong performance blending emotion and action, with actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar playing an important supporting role. During a press interaction, Vijay Sethupathi expressed his happiness about his son’s Telugu debut, noting that Phoenix carries a powerful story that will resonate well with Telugu audiences.
