Kollywood star Vishal and director Sundar C are once again set to collaborate on a new film titled Mogudu. The popular actor-director duo has previously delivered three successful films together—Madha Gaja Raja, Madha Gajaraja, and Action all of which were also released in Telugu. This upcoming project marks their fourth collaboration.

Mogudu is being directed by Sundar C, with Tamannaah playing the female lead opposite Vishal. The film is produced by ACS Arun Kumar and marks Vishal’s 36th film as a lead actor. Recently, the makers released an entertaining title glimpse that has drawn positive attention from fans.

The title glimpse showcases Vishal as a devoted husband who appears submissive and patient at home while dealing with humorous domestic situations. In contrast, he is portrayed as a strong and fearless individual outside, dealing with goons effortlessly—without his wife’s knowledge. The narrative cleverly highlights the idea that patience defines a true husband, blending comedy with action. The glimpse is further elevated by its lively background score.

Mogudu is positioned as a comedy action entertainer with strong family elements. While there is already a Telugu film titled Mogudu—directed by Krishna Vamsi and starring Gopichand and Taapsee—the makers have clarified that Vishal’s film has a completely different storyline, and no comparisons should be drawn.

The film’s shooting is expected to begin soon, and expectations are high among fans to see whether the Vishal–Sundar C combination will deliver yet another successful outing at the box office.
