Raayan Collections: Dhanush's second venture as a director, 'Raayan', enjoyed a solid opening at the box office. On its second day, the film maintained momentum, grossing approximately Rs 14 crore. With no significant competition from the South, except for the Hollywood film 'Deadpool And Wolverine', 'Raayan' had a clear run.

Following his directorial debut 'Pa Paandi' in 2017, Dhanush returned to direction with 'Raayan'. The film earned Rs 13.65 crore on its first day. As per initial figures from Sacnilk, the second day garnered approximately Rs 13.85 crore, raising the overall collection to Rs 27.50 crore. The movie saw a 60.85% occupancy rate in Tamil Nadu.

The soundtrack for 'Raayan' is composed by AR Rahman, and the film was released on July 26.
