Directed by Nag Ashwin, "Kalki 2898 AD" has been a huge success, featuring star actors like Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone.

The movie, known for its visual splendor, has been well-received by the audience and has become a major hit.

In just 15 days, it amassed a staggering ₹1000 crore and continues to perform well in theaters.

Today marks the 20th day since the release of "Kalki." Notably, no other significant films were released a week before and after its premiere, allowing "Kalki" to dominate theaters without much competition.

Even after two weeks, "Kalki" continues to be the primary choice in most theaters across the country.

The movie "Hanuman," released during Sankranti after many years, managed to play in 300 centers for 30 days and 150 centers for 50 days, setting a new record. It also succeeded at the box office, earning ₹350 crore.

"Kalki 2898 AD" has already surpassed "Hanuman" in terms of collections. This has led to speculation about whether "Kalki" can also break "Hanuman's" record for the number of days in theaters.

With 20 days since its release, "Kalki" still enjoys a strong presence in theaters, partly because no notable films have been released recently.

However, from next Friday, several small and medium films are scheduled for release. It remains to be seen if "Kalki" will retain enough theaters to continue its run and whether the movie unit will announce any new records.
