Kalki First Day Collections: Prabha s's Kalki 2898AD

Released on June 27th, Kalki 2898AD is receiving positive reviews for its visuals, action scenes, and Mahabharata references. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film has impressed audiences worldwide.

In North America, Kalki earned over $5.1 million, making it the highest-opening Telugu movie in the region, translating to approximately 45 crores. Predictions indicated a potential first-day worldwide collection of 200 crores.

Though official figures are pending, box office reports suggest Kalki collected 70 crores in Telugu, 25 crores in Hindi, and over 10 crores in other languages, totaling more than 115 crores in India. Including overseas collections, the worldwide total exceeds 180 crores.

Despite the strong performance, Kalki's first-day collections fall short of RRR (223 crores) and Baahubali 2 (217 crores), likely placing it third among Telugu films. Official numbers are awaited for confirmation.
