Popular Bhojpuri actress Anchal Tiwari, along with singer Chhotu Pandey, met a tragic end in a fatal road accident that occurred on February 25 in Bihar's Kaimur. The unfortunate incident involved a collision between a truck, an SUV, and a motorcycle, leading to a total of nine casualties, including four actors from the Bhojpuri cinema.

According to Punjab Kesari, the sorrowful occurrence took place on GT Road near Devkali village under the jurisdiction of Mohania police station. DSP Dilip Kumar of Mohania confirmed the identities of the deceased, including Bhojpuri singer Vimalesh Pandey, also known as Chhotu Pandey. The other victims have been recognized as Simran Srivastava, Prakash Ram, Dadhibal Singh, Anu Pandey, Shashi Pandey, Satya Prakash Mishra, and Bagish Pandey.

Expressing condolences through his official Twitter account, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lamented the loss of several lives in the tragic road accident near Devkali on NH 2 under Mohania police station in Kaimur district. He conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved families and assured that instructions had been issued to ensure proper treatment for the injured, while also wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
