A prequel to the Hollywood blockbuster 'The Lion King' (2019) is coming. The prequel 'Mufasa   The Lion King' will be released on Christmas this year. While 'The Lion King' was directed by Jon Favreau, the prequel was directed by Oscar winning director Barry Jenkins.  And in the movie 'The Lion King' Mufasa's character dies at one stage.  The film follows the perspective of Mufasa's son Simba, his brother and enemy Scar.

But how did Mufasa become king? What schemes did his brother Scar do at that time Hollywood talk is that the story of the movie 'Mufasa   The Lion King' will unfold in the background.  The new poster of this movie has been released. Jeff Nathanson, who wrote 'The Lion King', is also working on 'Mufasa   The Lion King'. Hollywood talk is that Aaron Pirrie will be doing the voice over for Mufasa and Kelvin Harrison for the role of Scar.
