Actor Aamir Khan is gearing up for a lavish celebration in honor of his mother Zeenat Hussain's 90th birthday.

Over 200 family members and friends will be flown in from various cities to join in the festivities at his Mumbai residence on June 13.

According to a close source, this gathering holds special significance as Zeenat Hussain had been unwell for over a year but has now recovered.

Aamir shares a profound bond with his mother, often seeking her approval on scripts and films. He fulfilled a promise to her by taking her on the holy Haj pilgrimage to Mecca.

On the film front, Aamir's next production, 'Lahore 1947', directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol, is underway.

Notably, Aamir and Sunny have never collaborated before, but their past box-office clashes have been legendary, with both actors emerging victorious.
