His most recent release, "Bade Mia Chote Mia," which had a budget of 350 crores, failed to perform well at the box office. Even amid setbacks, Akshay remains undeterred, stating during promotions for his film "Surfira," a remake of Surya's "Akashame Nee Haddura," that some in Bollywood celebrate his failures. He recalled advice from Amitabh Bachchan to persevere regardless of success or failure, emphasizing his belief in hard work as he continues to act in nine ongoing projects.
