Riteish Deshmukh to make biopic of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Actor-director Riteish Deshmukh has revealed that he will play the role of Shivaji himself and direct the film to bring the life of legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the silver screen. Riteish Deshmukh said that this venture will be a cinematic spectacle to capture the essence of the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj authentically, Riteish has invested all his energies and poured his heart and soul into this venture and is ready to face any challenge and make this film.

The will be a Marathi-Hindi bilingual.  National Award-winning cinematographer Santosh Sivan makes his debut in Marathi cinema and adds extra prestige to the project. The talented Ajay-Atul will compose the musical score
